TYPES OF CAMERAS

 

 


1.Smartphone Camera

These are built into mobile phones. They are very popular because they are easy to use and always with us. Modern smartphone cameras can take high-quality pictures and videos. People use them for everyday photography like selfies, travel, or social media.


2. Compact Cameras (Point-and-Shoot)

These small cameras are made for simple use. You just point and take the photo. They are light, easy to carry, and usually cheaper than professional cameras. Ideal for family events or travel photos.



3. DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) Cameras

These are bigger and used by professionals or serious hobbyists. They allow changing lenses for different kinds of shots (portraits, nature, etc.). DSLRs give full control over settings like focus, light, and speed. They are great for high-quality photos and videos.


4. Mirrorless Cameras

These are similar to DSLRs but smaller and lighter. They also offer high image quality and changeable lenses. Many photographers now prefer mirrorless cameras for their portability and speed.



5. Action Cameras

Small and strong, these are used for adventure and sports photography. The GoPro is a famous example. They can be attached to helmets, bikes, or surfboards and are often waterproof.


6. Instant Cameras

These print photos right after taking them. They are fun and popular for parties or gifts. Fujifilm Instax is one example.



7. 360° Cameras

These capture everything around in all directions. They are used for virtual reality (VR) or fun videos that you can move around in.
